Breanne and Brandon | Kona Hawaii Rainforest Wedding at Pa'ina Place | Hawaii wedding photographer

Breanne & Brandon Talaro | Pa’ina Place | Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

May 20, 2023

Breanne and Brandon had such a beautiful Hawaiian rainforest wedding in Pa'ina Place in the mountains above Kailua-Kona. Photographing these two in the rain and mist was such a dreamy and magical experience. This was our first time at this venue and it definitely did not disappoint. Since we travel to Kona quite often for our research, we are always thrilled when we get to capture love stories here, too! It’s become our “2nd home” of sorts and it always feels so welcoming when we return.

Pa'ina Place is truly a special venue. The lush foliage and beautiful trees create a natural canopy that softly filters the sunlight, enhancing the ethereal atmosphere of the ceremony site. And the girls with Flowers by Rowena did an incredible job creating the ceremony arbor with the most gorgeous tropical flowers! I think what I loved most about this unique location nestled in the mountainside was the gentle sounds of the birds and frogs chirping throughout the ceremony and reception. It created a very soothing background noise and added to the romantic environment we were surrounded by.

As a luxury and destination wedding photographer, capturing the love story of Brandon and Breanne in Hawaii was truly a dream come true. With the beautiful beaches and mountains of Hawaii as the backdrop for both their wedding and their bridal session, their wedding was nothing short of magical. “Mauka to Makai” or “Mountain to Ocean” – it was such an honor to be a part of their special day and to help tell their love story through in such a beautiful place. From the moments leading up to their first look to their intimate ceremony and reception, every detail was carefully curated to reflect their unique style and personalities. The love and joy between Brandon and Breanne radiated throughout the day, and I am grateful to have been able to capture those memories for them to cherish for a lifetime. They were so easy-going even with our constant rain, and I’m so grateful for such wonderful couples. This was also our first official wedding incorporating film! This day was truly filled with warmth and happiness, and I am so excited to see the adventures these two will have. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Talaro!
