A Paris-Themed Rainy Wedding Day in Spearfish | Black Hills, South Dakota

A luxury Paris-themed wedding in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota – definitely not your everyday South Dakota wedding! Rynette and Scott got engaged on top of the Eiffel Tower so they incorporated Parisian elements throughout their day. With my love of Europe and all things Paris, I especially loved these special accents that made their day so unique. The relentless pitter-patter of rain did add a touch of romance to their day, although it forced most of our photos indoors. So thankful for the covered patio outside of their church so we could capture these two outside before their reception began.

Despite the unexpected rain, the day exuded an air of elegance and sophistication, with guests adorned in mostly all-black attire. Soft hues of blush pink and gold accents harmonized perfectly with the serene indoor elements of Elkhorn Ridge Resort and their live band for the reception created a captivating atmosphere for their guests.

In this unique blend of Parisian flair and Black Hills charm, Scott and Rynette’s rainy wedding day was a truly timeless celebration, proving that even our classic South Dakota spring weather could not dampen the love and beauty of the day. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Lagge!
