Alana & Skylar had an absolutely beautiful July wedding on their family’s private property. We love private property for weddings because it’s always different than we’ve done before. Alana also had one of THE most beautiful dresses I’ve ever photographed, and her details fit our style so well. Lots of florals and blush accents and her ring was stunning, too! She started the day wearing a family heirloom dress that’s over 100 years old. This girl is so timeless. Then Skylar got to see her walking down the aisle in her beautiful floral gown. And can you really go wrong when you get to photograph the bride & groom with horses and dogs? Mango (habanero), their adorable golden pup, definitely tried to steal the show.

This wedding was a dream to photograph and I couldn’t wait to share a few favorites. I’ve been so honored to photograph the MacLachlan for many years so it meant a lot to me to be able to photograph Alana’s wedding. These two have an incredibly busy schedule but they made it work to come back to SD for a short while and we had the perfect Back Hills weekend for their wedding. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Lesmeister!
