Sophie & Deric kicked off our first wedding of 2022! And we couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple to start our wedding season. These two are darling and were so easy to photograph. They had a beautiful, intimate ceremony inside the Joy Center at Black Hills State University. And I’ll never complain if I get to sneak the bride & groom away for outdoor portraits in February. We caught the last glimpses of golden sunlight before letting these two join their family and guests for their reception. But the night wouldn’t be complete without letting Deric sneak a few pictures of his new bride with his pickup. 

A huge thanks to my sister Lynsey with Daylight Creative Studio for assisting me with this wedding – it’s always such a blast to work with my sister and she got some awesome behind-the-scenes shots for me. Here’s to a wonderful wedding season! Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs.!
