I love small, intimate weddings. Especially at adorable cabins tucked deep into the beautiful Black Hills. Samantha & Jason chose Deadwood, SD as their destination wedding location. The view from the cabin living room and their chosen ceremony location was breathtaking. With just their closest friends and family present, these two shared their vows and then we rushed outside to catch the last glimpse of sunlight for a few golden hour bridal portraits. After the sun set, we did a quick lighting shot with the hills in the background and then I said goodbye and congrats to these newlyweds so they could celebrate the evening with their family. Smaller weddings usually mean we’re not as rushed and it’s all about vows, photos, and celebration. It was truly a beautiful day and I was honored to be a part of it! Here are a few of my faves.
