We love winter weddings, especially with couples who aren’t afraid to brave the elements. These photos may look warm, but it was SO cold with the wind and windchill! But the cold can also mean spectacular sunsets, and we lucked out with a gorgeous sunset for these two, so we got to sneak them away after their ceremony for a few quick golden hour/sunset shots. Michael & Michaela were hands down one of the most easy-going couples we’ve ever worked with, and they made our job a breeze. They both have a great sense of humor, which I love. Then I don’t have to be afraid of my dry humor/sarcastic comments sneaking out ;)

Since Tom stayed home with Marina, my amazing sister Lynsey of Daylight Creative Studio got to come from Sioux Falls to help me out with this wedding and be my second-shooter. She killed it with her photos! I’m always jealous of her artistic eye, and I absolutely love getting to work with her. Especially at such a gorgeous venue. I think we work well together and it’s hard to tell our photos apart. So here are just a few quick favorites from this beautiful wedding :)
