A gorgeous Black Hills maternity session at Pactola Lake!

Michael and Michaela were one of our wedding couples and it truly means the world to me when our past couples come back to us to document their growing families. We chose Pactola Lake because we did some of their engagement photos there and it’s absolutely one of my favorite locations in the hills. Give me water and a gorgeous couple, and I’m a pretty happy photographer!

These two are so genuine and full of love and light and I just adore them. I’m so excited for their growing family! Here are a few favorite images from their magical session - it’s rare to have the lake so calm and flat with no wind! Although we did have some bugs, which actually gave the photos an even dreamier look. Ha.
