Bailey & Matt get the award for HOTTEST wedding of the summer. They got married by the water at the Arrowhead Resort at Cedar Shore. It was 107 with high humidity at the peak of their photos and we hardly had any shade. Even the party bus struggled to keep up and the AC wasn’t working, but these guys had such an amazing wedding party, I don’t think I heard one complaint all day. We also lucked out and found a gorgeous little sunflower field to stop with their party bus before heading to the reception for dinner and dancing. When I snuck the couple out for sunset/light shots, it took my camera about 10 minutes to de-fog with the high humidity after being in the airconditioned reception hall, but distant storm clouds gave us some amazing sunset colors. I felt a bit like we were in Mexico, but I can’t complain if I get to photograph an adorable couple by the water. I also don’t think you can find an easier going couple than Bailey & Matt – these two were a breeze to work with, and we had so much fun celebrating their big day.
