Kelsey and I have known each other almost our entire lives. She’s my longest friend, and I could not be more excited that she’s found someone who completes her so well. And it’s pretty freaking special and a tremendous honor to be their photographer.

Since these two live in Colorado, we snuck in a Black Hills engagement session for them while they were here finalizing wedding plans. And we had the most beautiful golden hour lighting for their session. It was a little breezy, but it was definitely one of the nicest evenings we’ve had in a while. Even better, these two treated us to pizza & beer afterwards, and it was wonderful catching up with old friends. Since this was such a special session for us, I couldn’t resist blogging a few favorites. You’ll also have to look for the “candid” shot of Tom photobombing them ;)
